Requirements:

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Java Developer
• Strong, hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka for event streaming and a deep understanding of asynchronous integration patterns and event-driven systems.
• Expert knowledge of designing, implementing, and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity and practical experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS services (specifically EKS, SQS, S3) is a strong advantage.
• Must be based in Belgium and willing to work on-site 2 days per week.
• Language(s): English(fluent), French or Dutch (fluent)

• Develop and maintain highly scalable, robust Java-based domain services.
• Design and implement high-performance REST and SOAP APIs to enable secure and reliable internal and external integrations.
• Work extensively with Apache Kafka to implement and maintain asynchronous, event-driven integration patterns.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, reusable, and strategically aligned services.
• Uphold and enforce clean coding standards to ensure high quality, optimal performance, and long-term maintainability of the codebase.
