Senior Backend Developer – Fintech Scale-Up - NodeJS & Typescript - Hybrid

Are you passionate about building scalable backend systems and working in a fast-moving, product-driven environment? A fintech scale-up is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a tight-knit tech team and help shape the future of financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, reliable APIs and backend systems
• Collaborate with product, design, financial ops, and customer success teams
• Own features end-to-end—from third-party API integrations to infra improvements
• Dive deep into fintech topics like credit risk and fraud detection

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience developing backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, Fastify, and TypeORM
• Skilled in API development and design, with a passion for creating intuitive, well-documented interfaces
• Solid understanding of message queues, with practical experience using RabbitMQ to build scalable, event-driven architectures
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB, with a focus on performance and reliability
• Autonomous and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
