With a strong reputation for quality, creativity, and innovation, they’re looking to bring a talented WordPress Developer into their permanent team to help deliver outstanding client projects.

The Role

As a WordPress Developer, you’ll be a key part of a collaborative studio environment — working alongside designers, strategists, and marketers to bring creative concepts to life. You’ll build, optimise, and maintain WordPress sites that don’t just look great but perform exceptionally across all devices.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, creativity, and the satisfaction of delivering high-quality digital work in a fast-paced agency setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites for a variety of clients.
  • Build bespoke themes and plugins to support complex design and functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive builds.
  • Optimise sites for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Integrate APIs, CRMs, and third-party tools as required.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance site performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in WordPress and front-end development.

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience developing WordPress sites (ideally in an agency environment).
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Proven experience creating custom themes and plugins.
  • Familiarity with page builders (Gutenberg, Elementor, etc.) and ACF.
  • Experience with WooCommerce, REST APIs, and Git version control.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an eye for design and user experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic agency setting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SEO and analytics integrations (GA4, Tag Manager).
  • Understanding of modern front-end workflows (npm, Webpack).
  • Exposure to accessibility and performance testing tools.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Hybrid or remote working options.
  • Opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile projects.
  • Supportive, creative team culture that values collaboration and innovation.
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities.
