DevAlly is building the future of digital accessibility. We are combining human-centric issue detection with AI-powered code remediation, and supercharged DevOps reporting into one powerful platform.
We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to take the reins on product design across key areas of our platform. You’ll be joining early and shaping the very foundation of the product, with full ownership and creative control. This is a rare opportunity to define the visual and UX language of a company from the ground up.
What you'll do:
- Own design across the product; auditing, reporting, dashboards, AI-powered remediation, integrations, and developer tools.
- Translate accessibility workflows into intuitive, fast, and scalable product experiences.
- Prototype and validate rapidly.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, Head of Product, Engineering, Accessibility Experts and Customers to ship high-impact features quickly.
- Drive visual identity and UX across interfaces.
You might be a fit if you:
- Have shipped complex, high-quality software products with technical depth.
- Have excellent visual and interaction design skills, with a high attention to detail and a passion for craft
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where you drive clarity and momentum.
- Exercise strong user research capabilities and a user-first mindset, with experience iterating based on feedback
- Can balance speed and craft you know when to move fast and when to sweat every pixel.
- Enjoy working closely with engineers; our engineering team is keen to serve as working knowledge experts for our target users.
- Think in systems and workflows, not just screens especially for technical users.
- Love turning dense UX challenges into fluid, elegant experiences.
- Prototype fearlessly with whatever tools best express your ideas; Whether that’s Figma, Loveable, v0 etc.
- Tell compelling stories and bring stakeholders along confidently and clearly.
Extra points for:
- Experience designing developer tools or infrastructure platforms.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, AT testing).
- Background or passion in AI-tooling or AI-enhanced UX.
- Experience designing and scaling a design system from scratch.
- Strong bias toward execution and shipping fast in early-stage environments.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset; Passion is everything.
This Role is Not for You If:
- You avoid execution-heavy work, we’re all about building, not just planning.
- You need existing structured processes; you'll be helping to define them.
- You’re not interested in designing for developers or accessibility.
Why DevAlly?
- You’ll help shape a critical platform that makes digital products more inclusive.
- You’ll be an early hire, with ownership, autonomy, and direct impact.
- You’ll work on a mix of AI, DevOps, and accessibility, solving problems that matter.
- You’ll help define the design culture and future design team from day one.
The DevAlly team committed to ensuring our recruitment processes are as accessible as possible. If you would like to discuss your access needs or need any support in completing your application please contact us at [email protected].
