We are very keen to find a MLRO to join our team in Riga.

In this role you will:

·      Be responsible for managing operations within Latvia

·      Oversee the day-to-day administrative, operational, and the risk management functions of the business

·      Implement an AML program, so that the Company is compliant with relevant Latvian regulations

·      Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the AML policy and program within the Company

·      Review and evaluate the observance of inner processes and regulations

·      Provide the company’s compliant and lawful operation

·      Monitor the resolution of consumer complaints, oversee fraud investigations involving customer accounts and recovery of funds

·      Keep and maintain records of high-risk customers and report suspicious activities to the authorities

·      Communicate and provide guidance to relevant parties on actual monitoring standards and parameters to detect fraudulent activities

·      Arrange and implement inspections and audits from third-party organizations, and making compliance recommendations based on their findings

·      Serve as the first point of contact between the company and regulatory authorities

·      Report directly to the Operations Manager and the Management Board

To be successful in the position YOU should have:

·      Strong professional experience in the field of Compliance

·      Prior experience as a MLRO

·      Experience in either FinTech, banking or other financial market participant

·      Leadership and hands-on experience

·      Fluency in English and Latvian both verbal and written

·      Good communication skills to keep relationships with regulatory authorities and law enforcement entities on a high level

·      Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

·      Bonus point of you understand cryptocurrencies well
