Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Catalog Item Development:
  • Create and design easy-to-use Service Catalog items and workflows that automate business tasks, delivering a seamless and efficient experience for users.
  • Scripting and Customization:
  • Write and maintain server-side scripts (such as Business Rules and Script Includes) and client-side scripts (including Client Scripts and UI Policies) to enhance ServiceNow’s capabilities and meet the unique needs of the business.
  • Custom Application Development:
  • Lead the development of custom applications within ServiceNow, ensuring they align with business requirements while maintaining scalability and ease of maintenance.
  • System Integrations:
  • Utilize integration tools like REST to connect ServiceNow with external systems, ensuring efficient data flow and process automation.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization:
  • Provide ongoing support for the platform, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and optimize workflows and scripts to improve overall performance and user satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams business analysts and administrators to deliver solutions that streamline and improve day-to-day operations.
  • Clear Documentation:
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for all development work, integrations, and customizations, ensuring that changes are well-documented and easy to track.
  • Support and Maintenance:
  • Ensure the platform remains up-to-date and fully operational, with minimal downtime or disruption to business activities.
  • Key Skills and Attributes:

    • Excellent written and verbal (English (must) / French) communication for stakeholder interaction and documentation.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • High attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
    • Solid experience with ServiceNow, particularly in ITSM.
    • Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, and other ServiceNow scripting tools.
    • Experience creating and customizing Service Catalog items and workflows.
    • Experience with Playbook
    • Familiarity with CMDB, CSM is a plus.
