Currently, Experis Luxembourg is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in steering the organization through its digital and transformation journey, protecting the reliability and scalability of our Kubernetes-based platforms while automating infrastructure and enhancing CI/CD pipelines. You will work with both AWS and on-premise cloud infrastructure using leading tools and frameworks for container orchestration and automation.
Activities
- Implement highly scalable, resilient, and performant cloud solutions based on reference architecture.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment and management, primarily using GitLab and Argo Workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible to reduce manual interventions and enhance efficiency.
- Build and maintain reliable Kubernetes environments leveraging EKS, OpenShift, and TKGI.
- Identify and create reusable infrastructure and automation building blocks for domain applications.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct system troubleshooting and problem resolution across varied platforms and application domains.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and software development methodologies.
Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technology, infrastructure, design patterns, and strategies (e.g., AWS, On-premise).
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture principles and container orchestration (EKS, OpenShift, TKGI, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Expertise with infrastructure as code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible; Cycloid experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tooling, especially ArgoCD.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, Argo Workflows, Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of observability principles and tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
- Solid knowledge of network, security, and database architecture.
- Familiar with integration platforms, including API management and messaging solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cloud/DevOps, with a proven track record of implementing and adopting DevOps lifecycles.
- Strong portfolio of successful cloud projects and innovations.
- Professional certifications in cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies are highly desirable.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus.
