Job Description

What does it feel like to be a Senior Data Architect in Netcompany?

As a Senior Data Architect, You Will

  • Assess and map core data entities and investigative data flows to identify gaps and integration opportunities.
  • Expand data mapping across all organizational domains for a unified data landscape.
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and ontologies for interoperability and reuse.
  • Standardize modeling tools, validation methods, and quality controls for consistency.
  • Define data architecture blueprints guiding systems, services, and analytical solutions.
  • Build a data science framework supporting responsible data collection and analysis.
  • Establish a federated governance model ensuring quality, metadata management, and secure access.
  • Deliver a scalable, secure, and interoperable enterprise data architecture strategy.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data or Computer Science, or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role within enterprise-level organizations.
  • Expertise in data architecture, modeling, metadata management, and data quality frameworks (e.g., OpenMetadata, Collibra, Apache Atlas).
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, federated data models, and ontology development (e.g., Denodo, Dremio).
  • Proficiency in data integration and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Airbyte, dbt, Azure Data Factory) and data cataloguing.
  • Experience supporting advanced analytics, data-driven investigations, and data visualization (e.g., Power BI, IBM Business Automation Insights).
  • Familiarity with law enforcement, financial crime, or public sector data environments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and bridge business and analytical domains.
  • Excellent English communication and documentation skills.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Experience with semantic technologies, linked data frameworks, knowledge graphs, GraphQL/ACE, and EU regulations (GDPR, AI Act).
  • Experience with justice or law enforcement IT systems; distributed governance, policy-as-code (OPA), data visualisation, analytics, and cloud/hybrid platforms (Azure, OpenShift, Nutanix).
  • Knowledge or certification in TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK, or Data Vault.
