We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, where you will gain hands-on experience in space systems simulation and work alongside experienced engineers on a flagship ESA/NASA program.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In our team you will undertake the below tasks:
- Assist in the development of simulation models .
- Support integration and testing of ESA component in through High Level Architecture (HLA).
- Contribute to test automation, validation campaigns and deployment.
- Learn to work with HLA/RTI, containerized environments, and ESA-standard tools.
- Document code, test results, and participate in technical reviews.
We are looking for an experienced candidate with the following:-
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- Solid experience developing in C++ in Linux environment
- Interest in simulation frameworks and distributed systems.
- Motivation to learn space mission standards.
- Team spirit and willingness to work in international, multidisciplinary teams.
- SIMULUS infrastructure
- Space standards (ECSS, HLA, SMP)
- Model-based engineering (MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect, UMF).
- AOCS/GNC concepts
- DevOps skills, familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- NS-3/OPSNET
- Agile methodology
- Exposure to space engineering projects (university CubeSat, ESA Academy, or internship experience).
