Role Description: In this role, you won't just be writing APIs. You'll be building the "operating system" of an autonomous AI university. You'll be the brain of our event-driven architecture, designing core microservices that govern the entire student lifecycle (from enrollment to graduation), and collaborating with our AI team to build robust APIs for our AI reasoning engines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend microservices using Python (FastAPI) and/or Node.js (TypeScript).
• Manage and scale our core event-driven architecture (e.g., Google Pub/Sub, Kafka) that powers the platform.
• Collaborate closely with the AI/ML team to create secure and efficient API layers for AI model integration into the platform.
• Perform data modeling and optimization for data stores such as PostgreSQL and Vector Databases.
• Set standards for code quality, test coverage, and CI/CD processes.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
• Expertise in backend development with Python (FastAPI, Django) or Node.js (TypeScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP) or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker container technologies.
• Ability to design complex systems and provide technical leadership.
