About The Role
The Talent Acquisition and HR Specialist with Vcheck with be an integral part of our HR operations in Romania! This role will be responsible for supporting our Romania team, primarily focusing on recruiting - sourcing and screening talent, scheduling interviews, managing reqs in the ATS, and working closely with hiring managers to bring on high performing talent. This role will also assist with all things HR in Romania, including onboarding, compliance, employee relations, device management and more. This is a fully remote, hands-on role within a fun, global, expanding org. Though this position is 100% remote, candidates are required to work in Romania.

What you'll be doing
- Spearhead Romanian recruiting efforts by managing job posts, scheduling interviews, conducting screening calls, and managing candidates in the Rippling ATS.
- Source candidates, as needed, for open positions.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Collaborate with the hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attend and participate in college job fairs, recruiting sessions and college partnership development.
- Support the employee onboarding and offboarding operational process and experience for our Romanian team members.
- Support the HR operations team with managing our HRIS, Rippling, onboarding and offboarding employees, and supporting the management of apps within the system (including the LMS, reviews, surveys, etc.).
- Act as an initial point of contact for employee questions by responding timely and with a customer service mindset to employee questions, directing them to the appropriate resources, and escalating, as necessary.
- Support in ensuring compliance with Romanian law.
- Act as a Romanian Cultural Crew lead, supporting event planning and execution, sourcing and sending employee gifts, etc.

Key requirements:

- 2-5 years of experience in a recruiting capacity
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR generalist capacity
- Bachelor’s Degree, or 5+ years of experience in a HR/recruiting capacity
- Proficiency in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Slack
- High level of discretion, confidentiality and maturity
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Experience working in a progressive start-up environment a plus

The Pay Range For This Role Is
6,000 - 8,000 RON per month (Remote (Romania))
