Magma is one of the world’s fastest-growing and most celebrated edtech companies, transforming math education through the power of AI. Our platform turns handwritten solutions into digital insights, empowering teachers to focus on creativity and deeper learning – while giving them real-time visibility into student progress.
The result? More inclusive, engaging, and effective math classrooms for all learners.
But we’re not just building better tools. We’re tackling one of the biggest challenges in global education: math underperformance. With 1 in 5 students globally struggling in math – a subject that forms the backbone of so many career paths – we believe the opportunity to improve outcomes at scale is massive.
We’re already the go-to solution in thousands of schools – and we’re just getting started. As we expand rapidly across the U.S. and Europe, we’re building a team as ambitious as our mission: to help millions of students unlock their full potential in math.
The Role
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team in Stockholm (HQ).
The Revenue Operations team serves as the glue between marketing, sales, and customer success, owning the tech stack, processes, and data.
As Magma’s first dedicated analytics hire, you’ll take our data and insights to the next level – shaping how decisions are made across the company. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and Product to ensure our data is clearly visualized for all revenue teams, enabling them to make more informed decisions in their day-to-day. Your work will also involve gaining a better understanding of usage patterns, tracking customer outcomes, and aligning the organization around measurable goals.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s technically strong, eager to learn quickly, and motivated by impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards that track platform usage, adoption, and outcomes.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
- Define key metrics, measure performance, and improve decision-making.
- Support ongoing improvements in data structure, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Present findings in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders across the company.
- Educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large datasets (BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI, or an eagerness to learn quickly.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets or Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Clear communicator who collaborates well across teams and adapts to new challenges quickly.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance data analysis.
- Strong analytical thinker who enjoys solving real problems through data.
- A hands-on role in a growing company where you’ll have real ownership and see the impact of your work quickly.
- Strong focus on learning and development – you’ll work closely with experienced colleagues and get exposure across analytics, product, sales, marketing, and customer success.
- An open culture where data, feedback, and curiosity drive decisions.
- Competitive compensation and benefits, including pension, insurance, and wellness perks.
- An in-office culture that fosters collaboration and team spirit.
- A meaningful mission: helping teachers and students around the world build confidence in math.
