Education:

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related discipline.

• Up-to-date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kubernetes & Container Automation: Lead the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Kubernetes (Rancher experience is a big plus). Drive initiatives for automating container workflows, ensuring consistent and repeatable processes across different environments especially on-premise.
• Infrastructure Automation: Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using pivotal tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Pulumi.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement and oversee robust monitoring solutions to ensure system health, performance, and reliability. Utilize tools and platforms to gain insights, diagnose issues, and ensure optimal application performance. Stay proactive in identifying potential problems before they impact the user experience.
• Azure Cloud: Champion Azure-based strategies, ensuring seamless integrations and the migration of resources to Azure.
• CI/CD Expertise: Shape and refine CI/CD pipelines, capitalizing on tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Ensure application resilience, with a steadfast commitment to high availability and performance.
• Uphold and impart best practices concerning distributed systems and microservices architectures.
