Position Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure that supports our software development lifecycle. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to automate deployments, monitor systems, and ensure high availability of services.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management:
Design, configure, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient.
CI/CD Automation
Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Integrate automated testing and security scanning into the CI/CD process.
Streamline release processes to enable fast, reliable software delivery.
Monitoring & Operations
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root-cause analysis.
Ensure system uptime, performance optimization, and disaster recovery readiness.
Collaboration & Support
Work with development teams to design deployment strategies and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance and implement DevSecOps practices.
Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
Security & Compliance
Implement security best practices in infrastructure, pipelines, and environments.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management.
Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of networking, security, and system administration fundamentals.
