Detailed Job Description:


We are looking for a skilled NetIQ Sepacialist to manage and evolve our Identity & Access Management platform. This individual will handle day-to-day administration while also contributing to the strategic roadmap and future integrations of the product.


Role Overview:

  • Administer and support the NetIQ platform on a daily basis to ensure secure operations and alignment with identity governance related policies and standards.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IDAM) workflows on NetIQ to automate Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes for both privileged and non-privileged accounts.
  • Develop and maintain sign-up/sign-in flows for customer identities across externally facing applications.
  • Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies and access matrices within the IDAM platform to align with organizational security and compliance standards.
  • Extend and optimize the existing IDAM implementation by integrating additional applications and services, ensuring scalability and seamless access management.
  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, role management, and automated provisioning/deprovisioning workflows, including development of custom connectors within NetIQ to support these capabilities.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for System Integration Testing (SIT), Unit Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support the implementation of Zero Trust principles by ensuring continuous verification of user identities, enforcing least privilege access, and securing access to applications and data across environments.
  • Develop reports to review and validate access assignments against RBAC models, identify excessive permissions or segregation of duties (SoD) violations, and ensure remediation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of IDAM related security controls and best practices.
  • Perform patch management, conduct health checks, address performance and security issues, and manage system upgrades for IDAM components.
  • Monitor privileged account usage and identity access for misuse or anomalies, leveraging logs and alerts from SIEM tools and platform-native monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and act as a subject-matter expert for NetIQ IAM capabilities.


Experience & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in NetIQ Identity & Access Management (IAM) administration and operations.
  • Hands-on expertise with provisioning, workflows, directory integration (LDAP/AD), and custom connectors.
  • Hands-on expertise in integrating applications with Identity Providers (IdPs) using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Familiarity with security concepts, compliance frameworks, and access governance.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support roadmap planning, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
