We are seeking a DevOps Specialist with a solid foundation in software development to lead the design, automation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from software engineering into DevOps and brings a developer’s mindset to infrastructure, automation, and system reliability.

You will work primarily within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, but familiarity with vendor- neutral tools is highly valued.


What you will do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
  • Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep, ARM templates, and optionally Terraform.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Azure Monitor, SCOM, Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Power Automate, Ansible, or Jenkins.
  • Implement secure deployment practices and integrate automated compliance and vulnerability checks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies, performance monitoring, and incident response.
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost-effective, scalable solutions.
  • Drive performance analysis and create new monitoring processes using Azure Sentinel, Advisor, and third-party tools.
  • Support configuration management and continuous improvement of DevOps practices in collaboration with software leads.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps or Software Engineering roles
  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104) are a plus

  • Automation: Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Power Automate, Ansible, UiPath, Zapier

Software Applications:

  • Good knowledge of Git and agile development practices
  • Experience with Hybrid deployments


Security & Compliance:

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, secure coding, and automated compliance tools

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to manage time and resources as well as work within a team environment is essential for success in this role
