Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a specialist to support our AML & Sanctions Name Screening application.

The role requires strong expertise in Oracle EDQ (name matching, cleansing, watch list screening) and IBM Data Stage (ETL development & support).

1. Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects — tables, views, procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
2. Write optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries for data processing, reporting, and analytics.
3. Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of performance bottlenecks.
4. Develop and maintain ETL workflows and data extraction processes from multiple data sources.
5. Support data integration between Oracle databases and external/cloud systems (e.g., Google Cloud, BigQuery, Dataflow).
6. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across environments.
7. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and application developers to design scalable and efficient data solutions.
8. Participate in code reviews, release management, and documentation of technical processes.
9. Monitor and support production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development (procedures, functions, triggers, packages).
• Proficiency in database design, schema management, and query optimization.
• Experience in ETL / data integration and working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, indexes, and partitioning strategies.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting Oracle databases.
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — preferably BigQuery, Dataflow, or Cloud Storage.
• Good understanding of data pipelines, batch processing, and data orchestration concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
