JOB – Junior Project Manager (HVAC)
LOCATION – Rochester
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a specialist in HVAC systems and building services, working across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects. They are looking to take on a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of projects from design through to installation and commissioning.
The Junior Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
• Background in HVAC, mechanical services, or building services engineering
• Experience assisting in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to liaise with engineers, suppliers, and clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• A relevant engineering or construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) desirable
• Keen to develop into a full Project Manager role
The Junior Project Manager role will involve:
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of HVAC projects
• Supporting project documentation, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinating between internal design, procurement, and installation teams
• Managing suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
• Visiting sites to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met
• Reporting project progress and issues to senior management
• Supporting the team with technical and administrative tasks as needed
