Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support ongoing initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced full-stack engineer with strong DevOps expertise who enjoys working in a complex, in-house developed environment and driving improvements across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expand the automated UI test coverage using Cypress to ensure application stability and quality.
• Implement business requirements across the full stack (Java, Spring, Angular, SQL) within the Service Layer for financing products.
• Identify and deliver technical and functional optimisations throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and design efficient technical solutions.
• Provide operations support, ensuring the smooth running and continuous improvement of deployed services.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of professional experience as a DevOps or Full-Stack Engineer.
• Strong hands-on skills with Cypress, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Proven track record working in agile environments (SAFe, Scrum) within DevOps teams.
• Native-level German (C2) proficiency is required

Contract Details:

• 1 Year contract with possible extensions
• Workload: 100% (full-time)
• Location: Zurich, Switzerland
