An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join a high-profile federal government program improving digital experiences across multiple user groups. You'll design intuitive, accessible interfaces, contribute to an established Design System, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful, user-centred solutions.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys to bring ideas to life.
- Contribute to and enhance an existing Design System.
- Facilitate co-design workshops to generate, validate, and iterate design ideas with stakeholders.
- Conduct usability testing sessions with staff, providers, and participants.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product and business owners.
- Engage with business, providers, and participants to co-design solutions that improve systems, processes, and user outcomes.
- Illustrate concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Collaborate with business analysts to capture and analyse data-related requirements.
- Secure stakeholder agreement and formal sign-off on requirements and deliverables.
- Contribute to project documentation including service design artefacts, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Produce deliverables aligned with project timelines and milestones.
- Proven experience in eliciting UI/UX requirements through workshops, prototyping, observation, or interviews.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX methodologies and hands-on experience designing to WCAG accessibility standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.
- 3-5 years' experience working as a UX/UI Designer in a complex environment.
Desirable:
- Experience designing for Salesforce platforms.
- Demonstrated experience designing for accessibility and inclusion.
- A passion for accessible design and development, and openness to innovative approaches.
