The Agile Coach must be able to lead, mentor and coach Fortune 1000 enterprises through Agile Transformations. Key relationships with senior executives, business stakeholders and technical personnel will be established and maintained. The Agile Coach is responsible for actively assessing the Agile Maturity of multiple large-scale programs at different stages of the transformational process and enabling them on their Agile journey. You will help align individual roles, processes, and enabling tools with the client’s Agile transformation. This position emphasizes independent consulting and analysis efforts to support sustainable agility across the enterprise.


Key Responsibilities


 Contribute to Agile transformation efforts across business and technology domains, with a focus on sustainable, incremental improvement.

 Support the development and refinement of Agile adoption strategies that incorporate change management principles, including mindset, behavior, process, and tool alignment.

 Perform Agile maturity assessments at enterprise and program levels and assist in defining improvement strategies.

 Provide individual and team coaching and guidance to Agile roles and teams such as Product Management (PM), Product Owners (PO), Solution Train Engineers (STE), Release Train Engineers (RTE), Scrum Masters (SM), Value Management Office (VMO), Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), and other transformation enablers.

 Apply organizational change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter 8 Step) to support individual role transitions and leadership alignment.

 Align individual roles, responsibilities, and performance indicators with Agile values and delivery practices.

 Contribute to the redesign of business processes and support toolchain modernization (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Service Now Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Azure DevOps (ADO), Broadcom Rally) to enable Agile ways of working.

 Assist in establishing global delivery models and scalable Agile operating structures.  Support the development of executive-level materials and communications that reinforce the case for Agile and change adoption.

 Travel up to 25% (interstate), as required, to support client engagements. What success looks like (outcomes)

 Increase Agile maturity score.

 Increase in on-time value delivery (or lead-time/cycle-time reduction).

 Adoption of target practices (e.g., PI cadence, Definition of Done, OKR alignment) across in-scope programs.

 Executive sponsorship sustained (quarterly scorecard green) and change risks proactively mitigated.


Required Skills & Qualifications

 Excellent Consulting, Communication, and Conflict Resolution Skills

 Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in Agile Transformations

 Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, LeSS, XP, Nexus, Disciplined Agile Delivery).

 Demonstrated experience contributing to Agile and Lean transformations in complex environments.

 Experience with organizational change management, including behavior change, business process redesign, and Business Owner alignment.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive communication.

 Familiarity with Agile tool ecosystems such as Jira, Clarity framework, ADO, SPM, Rally and Agile performance metrics.

 At least one of the following certifications: Prosci, SAFe SPC, SAFe Agilist, CST, CSM, CSC, CSPO, PMI-ACP, LKU, PSM, or PMP.

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Organizational Development, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications

 Background in management consulting or enterprise transformation roles.

 Certification in organizational change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent).

 Experience with SAFe implementation, process reengineering, and Agile toolchain configuration.  Active affiliation with Agile or change management professional communities.

 15 - 20+ years of IT or business experience, including at least 8 -12 years supporting Agile or Lean initiatives.

 Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
