Python Developer

We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable and efficient applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic group of developers and stakeholders to craft innovative solutions using modern frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality backend systems using Python, preferably with FastAPI
• Design and implement reliable APIs in collaboration with frontend developers
• Optimize and manage databases, leveraging SQL for data storage and retrieval
• Participate in the containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure seamless integration and deployment processes within cloud ecosystems like Amazon Web Services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system architecture with business goals
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical challenges
• Contribute to code reviews, fostering a clean, maintainable codebase
• Support the development lifecycle with automated workflows and pipelines
• Maintain project documentation and provide technical input during planning

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Python
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services
• Skills in building user interfaces with ReactJS or Svelte using TypeScript
• Competency in containerization and orchestration workflows with Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in database integration and administration with SQL databases
• Familiarity with Golang or other backend languages as an added advantage

Nice to have

• Background in automated testing in JavaScript environments
• Showcase of E2E testing experience using tools like Playwright or Selenium
• Understanding of developer platforms like Backstage
• Proficiency in code quality tools such as SonarQube
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
