Position Objective
Responsible for providing technical and service management support to passenger vehicle dealers within the assigned region. Ensure timely and professional resolution of technical issues, enhance dealers’ technical capabilities, and maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support
- Provide vehicle technical diagnostics and troubleshooting support for regional dealers
- Assist technicians in developing repair plans, resolving complex technical issues, and ensure customers' vehicles are quickly back in operation;
- Guide dealers in the correct use of diagnostic and specialized tools, promoting local application of tools and improving technical capabilities.
2. Service Management
- Oversee technical operations at dealer service centers, ensuring proper implementation of service processes; monitor key KPIs (first-time fix rate, work order efficiency, customer satisfaction); establish standardized diagnostic and repair procedures aligned with BYD standards.
3. Technical Management
- Follow up special events resolutions
- Conduct root-cause analysis of major technical issues and complaints;
- Collect and analyze market technical problems; maintain regular communication with HQ technical teams;
- Compile typical cases for continuous improvement.
4. Training & Capability Development
- Organize or support technical training and evaluations for dealer technicians
- Assist in preparing and improving training materials;
- Continuously enhance the overall technical competence of dealer teams.
5. Quality & Warranty Support
- Support analysis and reporting of major quality issues; conduct technical evaluations and preliminary reviews of warranty claims to ensure compliance and accuracy.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Strictly adhere to BYD and customer safety regulations; ensure safe, compliant, and efficient work practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive Engineering or related fields;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in aftersales technical support or dealer management, preferably in passenger vehicle segment;
- Knowledge of NEV systems (battery, motor, controller) is a plus;
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills;
- Experience in technical training or service improvement projects preferred;
- Willingness to travel or work on-site when required.
