The Opportunity
As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of assigned projects – ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead a team of site managers, engineers, quantity surveyors and specialists, coordinating resources and driving performance throughout the project lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and managing project delivery end-to-end
- Managing commercial performance alongside the Project QS
- Coordinating procurement of subcontractors, plant and materials
- Driving safety, compliance, and quality on site
- Issuing weekly project progress reports (incl. RFIs, procurement status, critical issues)
- Overseeing design development and value engineering
- Chairing project meetings with design teams and subcontractors
- Maintaining strong client relationships and supporting new business opportunities
What you’ll need:
- 5–10 years’ experience in a mechanical project management role, ideally within M&E contracting
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and a commitment to safe delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus
