Senior DevOps Engineer - Digital Resilience (DORA Implementation)

Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build our unbreakable financial platform in the EU and lead our technical DORA implementation. As our Digital Resilience Engineer, you will be the technical owner for ensuring our systems in the EU can withstand any disruption, from cyberattacks to infrastructure failures. Your mission is to architect, build, and validate resilient system architectures that not only meet the strict requirements of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) but set the standard for security and reliability in digital assets.

Your work will be the technical foundation for our EU license and will directly build trust with regulators. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will translate regulatory mandates into code and infrastructure, acting as the crucial link between EU compliance and our global development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect for Resilience: Design, implement, and own fault-tolerant system architectures (using Go, Kubernetes, AWS) that are inherently resilient to failures and attacks.
• Build the Proof: Lead advanced resilience testing, including chaos engineering and threat-led penetration testing (TLPT), to validate system durability under extreme conditions.
• Embed Risk Management: Implement and automate our ICT Risk Management Framework directly within our technology stack and development lifecycle.
• Secure the Ecosystem: Technically assess and fortify integrations with third-party services to ensure end-to-end system stability.
• Bridge Global Teams: Act as the primary technical authority in Europe, translating DORA requirements into actionable specs for our Hong Kong/Shenzhen-based development teams.

Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Min. 1-2 years of proven experience directly working with DLT/Blockchain-based applications in fintech, crypto, or trading environments.
• Deep, practical experience in optimising backend systems for latency, scalability, and resiliency.
• Deep, practical experience with our tech stack: Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Postgres.
• A mindset for resilience and risk; experience with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or a willingness to master DORA's specific mandates.
• Excellent communication skills to work with geographically distributed teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional English proficiency. German is a plus.
