Context of the mission/Objective(s) of the job:
We are looking for a Senior Developer with Java Spring Boot experience. Who can streamline event handling over Kafka. Objective is to build the interface between our new backend and the Belgian Energy Market Hub.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Senior-level expertise in: o Java o Spring Boot o Apache Kafka o REST API and SOAP service development o Asynchronous integration patterns (e.g., event-driven architecture, message queues) o Kubernetes
Nice to Have / Bonus Skills: • Experience with AWS services: o EKS, SQS, S3 • Familiarity with PostgreSQL • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging in cloud-native environments
