Greenstep is a growing, global group helping thousands of companies in Europe to grow through clarity. We currently operate in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, the Netherlands, and the UK. Join an innovative tech-oriented global consulting firm dedicated to providing top-tier financial services. Our team of top-notch professionals supports customers across all industries with world-class services in Accounting, Payroll, HR, CFO, ERP, Analytics, Legal, Tax, Compliance, AI, automation, and sustainability.

As Greenstep continues to grow, we are now emphasizing the importance of scaling our businesses with the power of digital products, automation, and AI. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business/Product Developer to take ownership of technology-driven product development and process improvement.

We are not just digitizing, we are transforming. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, and driving improvement opportunities across our businesses to turn insight into action. You get energy from finding inefficiencies, fixing them, and building smarter processes that make a real impact. This role is based in our Espoo headquarters.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities of digital product development and process improvement, take ownership of them, and lead their development from idea to production.
  • Collaborate with our business line leaders and our sizable tech development team to leverage our AI, data, low code, and software development capabilities.
  • Create visible, measurable impact in how critical business operations run for us and our customers. If you spot a better way, you make it happen.

Your experience and background:

  • At minimum 3-5 years of related experience in consulting, process, or business development, ideally within finance or one of our core business areas.
  • Proven ability to identify, shape, and deliver technology-driven improvements. You do not need to code.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working hands-on with AI-driven tools (lovable, replit etc.) to explore, test, and validate ideas.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in collaboration and takes ownership to get things done.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Finnish or Swedish is a plus.
  • Passion for designing better processes, combined with the courage to challenge conventions and rethink how work gets done through smart automation.
  • Genuine curiosity for AI, automation, and data, and a drive to use them to make a measurable impact.

Why Greenstep?

Greenstep is quite different from your average consulting company. Our strength comes from strong relationships with our customers especially with their business and finance leadership as trusted advisors on a continuing basis. We are valued for our expertise and opinions, and we do not just "sell anything we can". Our customer base includes over 2000 exciting companies in Finland, Nordics and increasingly also other countries.

We are a family-owned financially stable company that has grown significantly each year - also during the last few years of market downturn. We want to grow in a controlled manner, profitably and without compromising on quality. For us, growth means new opportunities: we can make a more positive impact on society, create new jobs, invest in the development and skills of our personnel, and enable business continuity.

We have already a sizable tech team, especially with our data & analytics, ERP and automation practices. This means that there is a big team to support your success, but at the same time there is a big opportunity to make personal impact on how our digital product development and process improvement will look like. We expect you to bring new things to the table and show us what is possible.
