This role is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days onsite our corporate office in Pessac, FR.

Your Mission
As our Junior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and continuously improving core systems, while contributing to technical initiatives and ensuring solutions meet both business and technical requirements. The components you'll work on and own are essential to SOPHiA GENETICS’ DDM operations, enabling the processing of medical data into insights for oncologists.
The value you add:
New Feature Development:
- Implement new features and enhancements based on evolving business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to the user interface design and its integration in the existing web modules 
- Apply the clean code policy, implement component test and guarantee software safety by managing vulnerabilities
- Implement end-to-end test for new feature testing and avoid regression 
- Strong knowledge in JavaScript and React for front end development.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge of Rest and GraphQL api
- Good knowledge in user experience and sketching tools
- Familiarity with version control software and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in medical software is beneficial.
