About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team supporting clients in Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational DevOps experience who is eager to grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Support infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
- Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ensure system security and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Document processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in DevOps or system administration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- German language proficiency at B2 level or higher is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Certification in cloud technologies or DevOps practices is a plus.
