Your Role:

You will be responsible for managing and optimizing complex cloud infrastructures, ensuring cost efficiency and high performance, and integrating internal and external systems. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement modern solutions and support the company’s cloud strategy.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate public and private cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
  • Analyze and optimize cloud architecture for cost and performance
  • Integrate internal and external systems and cloud service providers
  • Implement and manage SSO solutions
  • Evaluate new technologies and share knowledge within the team
  • Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Manage containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenTofu) and automate processes with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
  • Handle infrastructure components including databases, storage, DNS, and networking


Your Profile:

  • Several years of experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Proficient in managing productive Linux and Windows systems
  • Experience implementing SSO in complex environments
  • Expert knowledge in automation, CI/CD, IaC, and version control
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenTofu)
  • Familiarity with databases, storage, networking, and DNS
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash; Python is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel to Cologne for team meetings (~4x/year)
  • Strong team mindset, open communication, and willingness to share knowledge
