Accountabilities
- Define and implement the company's IT infrastructure and security strategy, aligning with organizational objectives
- Lead cloud and computing infrastructure management, optimizing for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
- Establish comprehensive security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Design and maintain data infrastructure to support large-scale AI model training and deployment
- Oversee IT operations, including hardware procurement, onboarding, internal tools, and day-to-day support
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
- Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize technology projects and ensure alignment with business goals
- 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role managing strategy and teams in high-growth tech environments
- Deep hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, including IAM, networking, and infrastructure-as-code
- Proven track record in building and managing corporate security programs, including leading compliance audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Strong automation skills for IT operations, from onboarding to monitoring and incident response
- Excellent business acumen, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage budgets effectively
- Startup mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, hands-on implementation, and fast-paced decision-making
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a strong plus
