Cyber Security Engineer - Remote - Germany
We’re working with a global Managed Security Service Provider specialising in enterprise-grade IT networks and cybersecurity across multiple sectors and time zones. With a team of 30–40 skilled engineers, they deliver end-to-end solutions, from consulting and firewall design to 24/7 SOC, NOC, and secure hybrid-cloud connectivity.
They’re now looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their expert team and help strengthen their managed security services. With a vendor-agnostic approach and elite partner status, they empower clients to focus on business outcomes while they safeguard critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Fortinet and Palo Alto security solutions across enterprise environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security analysis to identify and remediate risks.
- Support and enhance SIEM and SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection and response.
- Deploy and manage Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) in complex network infrastructures.
- Contribute to the design and rollout of Zero-Trust Architecture strategies.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Account Managers, and other technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Stay current with evolving security technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, Security Analyst, or Security Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability testing, and threat analysis.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms and SOC environments.
- Experience deploying and managing NGFW solutions.
- Understanding of Zero-Trust Architecture concepts and implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote settings.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
