About The Role
ORS is one of the leading building consultancies in Ireland. Our team consists of experienced and dynamic professionals dedicated to delivering projects in line with our client's requirements. We currently require a chartered engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have the option to work remotely and must be open to travel to various sites.
About You
The role is ideal for professionals with solid construction backgrounds looking for the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the skills necessary to determine and define each project's scope of work and deliverables. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing tenders, supervising tendering procedures, preparing proposals, and managing, supervising, and visiting contractors on-site. You will have demonstratable creative and logical thinking experience to resolve design issues.
Skills And Experience
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering in construction, preferably consultancy.
- Comfortable reading and understanding drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction & engineering principles.
- Chartership.
- Strong leadership, management & Communication skills.
