Solutions Architect – 12-Month Rolling Contract | Dublin (Hybrid)

Work Setup: One day per week on-site (Monday), hybrid thereafter

We’re working with a major Irish enterprise that’s undergoing an exciting technology transformation – scaling up, modernising, and investing heavily in digital change to match strong business growth.

They’re now looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join their architecture team on a long-term rolling contract.

The Opportunity

This is a business-facing role where communication is just as important as technical design. You’ll act as the bridge between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders to turn ideas into clear, scalable, and deliverable solutions.

You’ll join an established architecture function that’s growing steadily, working alongside talented architects and engineers who combine enterprise-scale thinking with a practical, collaborative approach.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with business and product leaders to translate needs into robust solution designs.
• Work within Scaled Agile squads, supporting both 3-month delivery plans and a 6-month strategic roadmap.
• Conduct architecture reviews to assess technical fit across existing systems, including Salesforce, SAP, iOS, Android, Web, and AWS.
• Design and guide event-driven architectures (Kafka experience is a strong advantage).
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical components for delivery teams.
• Present and communicate solutions clearly and confidently across all levels of the organisation.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in a complex enterprise environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS), integration design, and event-driven systems.
• Experience working at scale – large systems, high traffic, multiple integrations.
• Collaborative, professional, and approachable style with a focus on delivery.

Working Setup

• Location: Dublin (one day per week on-site, hybrid otherwise)
• Contract: 12-month rolling
• Interview Process: Two stages with senior members of the architecture leadership team
