POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Brand Partner Compliance – EMEA is responsible for leading the development, execution, and oversight of compliance initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including newly aligned markets including Australia and New Zealand. This position ensures that LifeWave’s Brand Partners and Customers in these regions adhere to company policies, ethical business practices, and applicable regulatory standards.
The Sr. Manager serves as a regional compliance leader, managing complex compliance investigations, developing proactive education strategies, collaborating with Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, and ensuring the company maintains a strong, consistent, and compliant presence across all markets. This position plays a key role in scaling compliance infrastructure to support LifeWave’s ongoing expansion and growth throughout EMEA.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will supervise the EMEA Compliance Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Oversight
- Lead and manage the EMEA Compliance operations, ensuring consistent enforcement of LifeWave’s global policies and procedures while adapting them to regional regulatory expectations.
Market Expansion Support
- Partner with the Global Compliance and Legal teams to establish compliance frameworks based on market’s status.
Investigations & Enforcement
- Oversee the intake, review, and resolution of policy violation reports; ensure timely and well-documented investigations and appropriate corrective actions in line with corporate compliance processes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Global Compliance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal, Regulatory, and Communications teams to promote compliant business practices and ensure alignment across all departments.
Education & Prevention
- In cooperation and collaboration with Global Compliance, develop and deliver compliance training, educational resources, and proactive communication strategies for Brand Partners and internal staff.
Monitoring & Risk Identification
- Direct the ongoing monitoring of social media, websites, and marketing content for potential compliance or reputational risks in the EMEA region.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of compliance cases, notices, resolutions, and regional compliance metrics for regular reporting to Global Compliance leadership.
Policy Development
- Contribute to the drafting, review, and continuous improvement of LifeWave’s policies, procedures, and enforcement protocols to ensure global alignment and local applicability.
Event & Brand Partner Engagement:
- Represent the Compliance department at select events, meetings, and field engagements (occasional travel required).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Industry/Compliance experience preferred (5+ years or previous experience)
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills - emphasis on compliance terminology understanding and application. (Prefer ability to speak and write in several languages.)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Ability to work cohesively and effectively with all departments and corporate personnel.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to frequent changes while handling time-sensitive, high- pressure demands.
- Strong knowledge of ethical business practices, regulatory procedures, and corporate policies.
- Proficient in handling and maintaining confidential information.
- Proficient in navigating social media and internet channels for investigative and research information collection purposes.
- Proficient in general computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and corporate systems.
- Proficient in English and Portuguese or Polish required
