Job Description:
Experience Level
1-3 years of professional experience in AI/ML/Data Science
Educational Background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Required Technical Skills
- Programming & Development 1+ years of professional Python experience for data science and ML applications
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative
development
Machine Learning & AI
- Solid foundation in traditional machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks, like scikit-learn
- Understanding of modern AI engineering practices including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Agentic AI, and Prompt Engineering
- Experience with MLOps practices
- Strong data manipulation skills with Pandas
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with cloud-based ML services and data storage solutions
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with explainable AI (XAI) and model interpretability techniques (like Shap and Lime)
- Experience or interest in the pharmaceutical industry

Location
The position can be filled fully remote from EU or at our Trieste headquarter in Italy, or at our R&D site in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
