Security Engineer (Remote - Europe)

In this role, you will help protect critical systems and data while ensuring compliance with leading security standards. You'll play a key part in strengthening the organization's security posture, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Working closely with engineering and IT teams, you'll help safeguard infrastructure, manage access, and prepare for audits and reviews. Accountabilities

• Maintain and improve the organization's compliance platform supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar frameworks
• Monitor, track, and manage vulnerabilities across infrastructure and applications, ensuring timely remediation in coordination with engineering teams
• Provide IT support for onboarding, offboarding, identity management, and endpoint security
• Conduct vendor security assessments to manage third-party risk
• Support audits and compliance processes, including evidence collection and control monitoring
• Assist in completing customer security questionnaires and maintaining a repository of standard security documentation
  
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or compliance
• Familiarity with or strong interest in security frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and security processes
• Practical troubleshooting experience with macOS, Windows, SaaS tools, and identity management systems
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Comfortable working in a fully remote and cross-functional international team
