Lead the front end of a modern React application that centralizes regulatory documentation and collaboration. Drive UI architecture, performance, accessibility, and seamless integration with a Java Spring Boot backend in a cloud/containerized environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable React features and component libraries
  • Define UI architecture, state management, and coding standards
  • Integrate with RESTful services and multiple data sources
  • Ensure accessibility, performance, testing, and security best practices
  • Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployments (Docker, Azure)
  • Mentor engineers; collaborate closely with product and UX
  • Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement


Must have

  • 5+ years building production apps with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Strong HTML, CSS/SCSS, responsive and accessible UI (WCAG, ARIA)
  • React Hooks and component-driven development
  • Experience with state management libraries (MobX preferably; Redux/Zustand a plus)
  • Front-end build tooling (Vite preferably; Webpack/ESBuild/Rollup a plus)
  • Testing: Jest for unit/integration; experience with e2e tests (Playwright preferably; Cypress a plus)
  • Version control and tooling: Git, code reviews, branching strategies
  • DevOps basics: Docker, CI/CD pipelines (preferably on Azure)
  • API integration and async data handling with REST


Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Java Spring Boot backends, MongoDB, MySQL, Flyway
  • Design systems and Storybook
  • Performance optimization (code splitting, memoization, virtualization)
  • Monitoring/observability and Azure DevOps
  • Domain experience in compliance or documentation platforms
  • German language skills
