The role
As our FP&A and ESG Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in combining financial planning and analysis (FP&A) with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities. You will develop and improve budgeting, financial projections, and long-term operating forecasts, while analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, expenses, capex, and profitability. Your expertise will be crucial in building and coordinating (financial) reports for senior management and external stakeholders, developing (financial) models to support strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
In the ESG domain, you will manage carbon reporting and disclosure, prepare for the EU’s CSRD, and implement ESG policies. You will perform risk assessments, analyze data, and collaborate with teams to integrate ESG into the risk management framework.

Your role will also involve supporting financial and ESG audits, implementing internal controls, and coordinating with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations. You will participate in improvement projects, such as the implementation of new reporting systems.

You
You are a highly skilled and motivated professional with a strong background in finance and sustainability. You excel in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, and have a deep understanding of ESG frameworks and (financial / ESG) reporting standards. Your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are exceptional, and you thrive in collaborative environments, managing multiple priorities with ease. You effectively accomplish tasks.
Further:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in FP&A and ESG roles, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards, particularly the CSRD, GHG, SBTi.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional, international teams and manage multiple priorities.
- You have proficiency in English and Dutch, spoken and written.
