The Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Senior Project Manager to join our team in Amsterdam or Munich.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, including feasibility studies, deliverables, milestones, and handovers across multiple cities and countries.
  • Develop and oversee scopes, budgets, and schedules; ensure financial and operational control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage offers, contracts and negotiations with landlords, contractors, architects, and vendors to secure the best outcomes for JetBrains.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning laws, building codes, and other regulatory requirements in all locations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to prevent delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
  • Drive effective communication between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Drive change management during relocations, office expansions, and transitions that impact employees.
  • Report progress through regular clear updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and promote continuous improvement in JetBrains and project management processes and practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in construction project management with proven technical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • A passion for design and high aesthetic standards.
  • Independent yet collaborative mindset, comfortable working in diverse, international teams.
  • Proactive and structured approach to task management and communication.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Expertise in project management methods, contracts, and risk management. Proficiency in office software, project planning tools, timelines, Excel, and CAD.

Bonus Points

  • Professional certifications such as PMI-PMP, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or equivalent.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s) in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, or a related field.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, complex, or multi-site projects—ideally within the tech sector.
  • Experience with the German construction market—local regulations, permitting, and building application processes. German language.
