We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded intern to join our OKAM Support Team. Following a recent department restructuring, we need someone with strong Excel expertise to support our account managers with data analysis, report creation and business intelligence activities. This role offers hands-on experience working with real business data and the opportunity to develop core knowledge of our operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process and analyse large raw data files from multiple systems
  • Create and maintain advanced Excel formulas, macros and tables
  • Support the preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations for account managers
  • Perform data quality checks and adjustments from legacy systems
  • Conduct data lookups and consolidation from various systems
  • Assist with PowerPoint presentation development and Dashboards
  • Collaborate with account managers to understand their specific reporting needs
  • Adapt to different account preferences and reporting requirements
  • Maintain and update report templates


Education Background / Work Experience Required

  • Economics
  • Bachelor's students (3rd or 4th year) - looking for practical experience
  • Master's students - more advanced skills, higher chance of converting to a permanent role

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, XLOOKUP) - mandatory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and maintain attention to detail
  • Understanding of business context and ability to see both details and the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with different stakeholders
  • Administrative mindset with proactive approach


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI and/or CargoWise or other business intelligence tools
  • Understanding of logistics operations and incoterms (e.g. CPT)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data dashboards
