About the Role

CuddlyNest is reimagining how people discover and book travel around the world, and that means building fast, delightful, and intuitive experiences across mobile platforms.

We’re looking for a Mobile App Developer to join our Product Engineering team. You’ll help craft end-to-end experiences across React Native (iOS & Android) — from search to checkout — and work with a tight-knit, cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Frontend Architecture & UI Development
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces using React, React Native, and Next.js
• Turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready components
• Develop and maintain reusable components with localization and theming in mind

Mobile Development

• Build performant, cross-platform mobile apps (iOS + Android) using React Native
• Implement deep linking, push notifications, secure storage, and navigation patterns
• Collaborate on App Store and Google Play releases, OTA updates, and CI/CD

API Integration & State Management

• Connect to backend APIs across booking, listings, and user profile features
• Use tools like Redux Toolkit, React Query, or SWR to manage state and caching
• Build resilient UX with fallback states, loaders, and graceful error handling

Testing & Performance

• Write unit, integration, and E2E tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
• Optimize performance with lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, etc
• Monitor app health with tools like Sentry or Firebase Performance

Deployment & Monitoring

• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, OTA updates (e.g. CodePush), and test build workflows
• Debug app crashes, monitor bundle size, and improve stability through logging/analytics

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with product, backend, design, and QA to ship meaningful features
• Participate in sprint planning, retros, and code reviews
• Contribute ideas for UX improvements and frontend architecture

What You’ll Need To Bring

• 6-8 years of experience building mobile apps
• Strong knowledge of React, React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with Next.js, REST APIs, and state management libraries
• Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play
• Comfort working with Git, Jira, and Agile development cycles

Bonus Points For

• Experience in travel tech, booking systems, or transactional UIs
• Animation skills with Reanimated, Framer Motion, or Lottie
• Understanding of SEO, SSR, and ISR in Next.js environments
• Hands-on with Firebase, CodePush, or OTA tooling
