Job Description
Project – the aim you’ll have
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who’s eager to help us make our cloud systems faster, more reliable, and easier to scale. You’ll work with modern AWS tools, automate deployments, and build solutions that keep our platforms running smoothly.
Position – How You’ll Contribute
- Build and improve CI/CD — Set up and maintain pipelines for smooth, repeatable deployments using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Automate workflows — Eliminate repetitive manual tasks across build, test, and deploy processes using scripts and automation.
- Manage AWS infrastructure — Help monitor and optimize AWS services for cost, performance, and reliability using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Improve visibility — Set up logging, metrics, and dashboards with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Solve real problems — Work with developers to quickly find and fix infrastructure or deployment issues.
- Collaborate on migrations — Support cloud migration and hybrid setups (On premise ↔ AWS and AWS ↔ Azure).
- Focus on security and reliability — Apply good practices for IAM, networking, and data protection.
Expectations – the experience you need
- 3 + years in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role (with AWS experience).
- Good scripting skills (Python or Bash).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or similar).
- Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
- Understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC).
- Basic experience with observability and monitoring tools.
- Migration know‑how — VPNs/Transit Gateway, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS DMS, phased cutovers and rollback plans.
- Problem-solving mindset, collaboration skills, and eagerness to learn.
- Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect.
- Azure familiarity (AKS, ACR, VNet, Azure DevOps) to collaborate effectively during/after migration.
- Data layer experience (SQL/NoSQL) on AWS and/or Azure.
- Microservices patterns and service meshes; secure SDLC and compliance automation
