Job Summary
Ceffu is seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to lead and expand our operations in Turkey. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the local entity’s operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, building strategic partnerships, and driving business growth.
This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of the crypto and financial services landscape, and the ability to navigate regulatory frameworks in Turkey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic vision development and execution of Ceffu’s business in Turkey.
- Manage all aspects of the local entity, including compliance, finance, legal, business development, and operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Turkish regulatory authorities, ensuring full compliance with local laws and licensing requirements.
- Oversee implementation of local KYC/AML, data protection, and operational risk procedures in line with both Turkish and global standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global teams across product, legal, risk, and technology to align Turkey’s operations with Ceffu’s global objectives and international best practices.
- Build and manage a high-performing local team in line with business needs fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in financial markets, information technologies, or financial technologies.
- Proven leadership experience in a managerial or executive role, preferably within the fintech, crypto, banking, or financial services industries.
- Strong understanding of the Turkish regulatory and compliance landscape, especially in relation to digital assets.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and reputation suitable for a key leadership position in a financial organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in Turkish and English.
- Four year bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, information technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with or within Turkish regulatory authorities.
- Existing relationships within the crypto or financial services ecosystem in Turkey.
- Knowledge of custody solutions, digital asset infrastructure, and blockchain technologies.
