  • Nature of role: Full time

  • Areas of past experience preferred: Banking, data analysis, data modelling, MIS reporting, project management, banking data warehouse, ETL, data modelling, Basel, IFRS 9, financial reporting etc.
  • Educational qualification expected: Graduate/ Postgraduate
  • Additional qualifications/ certifications required: None
  • Preferable additional certifications: CA / CFA / FRM / Actuarial Science
  • Preferred geography of previous work experience: India / Middle-East
  • Language requirements: Ability to write and speak fluently in English
  • Application experience preferable: MS Excel, VBA, R / Python, SQL, Power BI, SAP BO, QlikView, OBIEE,


Key responsibility areas:


  • Expertise in RDBMS & SQL – Strong knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Flat Files, XML, JSON and Semi structured data) and hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and performance tuning.
  • BI Tools Proficiency – Experience in Power BI, SAP BO, QlikView, or OBIEE for creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Data Warehouse & Modeling – Understanding of ETL, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema), and OLAP/OLTP systems.
  • Programming (R/Python Preferred) – Good to have skills in R or Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Banking MIS & Data Warehouse Experience – Prior work in banking/financial data warehousing (preferably T24 core banking).
  • Strong Communication & Problem-Solving – Excellent verbal/written skills, ability to troubleshoot data issues, and handle challenging tasks.
  • ETL Knowledge – Familiarity with Informatica, SSIS, or DataStage for data integration.
  • UAT Coordination – Liaise between vendors, developers, and users to ensure smooth User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Project Management – Ability to manage projects from requirements gathering to delivery, including documentation (BRD, FRD) and testing (SIT/UAT).
  • Agile & JIRA – Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and experience with JIRA for task tracking.
  • Regulatory Reporting & Migration – Understanding of BASEL III, IFRS9, Central Bank reports and experience in data migration & reconciliation reports.

  • Location: Dubai, UAE
  • Work permit requirements: Either IndianCitizen or havingvalid work permit to work in India / UAE
  • Period of engagement: Full-time position
  • Probation period: 6 months
  • Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selectionprocess.
  • Performanceincentives: Typically, all rolesat Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspectswill be discussed during the compensation discussion
  • Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based onthe city and countryof engagement.

Selection process:

We seek to be transparent during the selectionprocess. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows:

  • Interview: There are expectedto be at least 2 rounds ofinterviews. The numberof interview roundsmay increase dependingon the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
  • Final discussion on career and compensation: Post final selection, a separate discussion will be set up to discuss compensation and career growth. You are encouraged to seek any clarifications

It is recommended that you prepareon the following aspectsbefore the selection process:

  • Demonstrate knowledge about SQL, data analysis, Basel, IFRS 9 and banking industry
