We are currently seeking a dynamic Systems Engineering Manager based in Norway to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
As a Systems Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Systems Engineering team supporting customers across various sectors.
- Coach, mentor, and manage performance to help team members grow and succeed.
- Set clear expectations for deliverables and success metrics.
- Recruit and onboard new talent into the team.
- Collaborate with sales account leaders to drive strategic plans and expand Fortinet’s footprint.
- Align key product features and functionality to customer outcomes.
- Partner with escalation management teams to resolve complex issues.
- Build strong relationships across internal teams, key customers, and strategic partners.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful contract bids and RFx responses.
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing across teams and verticals.
- Champion Fortinet’s processes and methodologies in leading and managing the team.
An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:
- 10+ years of experience in the networking industry, with hands-on knowledge of Cloud (AWS and Azure), Routing, Switching, VPN (IPSEC/SSL), LAN, WAN, Network and Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection, AntiVirus & ATP.
- 5–8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
- Strong understanding of pre-sales engineering and sales processes.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and manage teams of highly skilled engineers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive-level decision-makers.
- Experience designing cost-effective solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Willingness to travel as needed within and outside Norway.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
