Job Summary:

The selected candidate will play a key role in consulting on analytical solutions that help understand, analyze, and synthesize business and data requirements. This role supports the design and delivery of advanced data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting capabilities to enable fact-based decision-making and drive improved business outcomes. The candidate will also provide guidance on the configuration, functionality, and usability of data management, analytics, and visualization tools, contributing to the overall data strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of analytical and reporting solutions.
• Identify emerging issues and trends to inform business decisions.
• Recommend and implement data-driven solutions based on analysis and business implications.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and data requirements.
• Design, develop, and automate dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analytics.
• Structure and organize data across multiple dimensions such as demographics, customer, product, and transactions.
• Cleanse, transform, and manipulate large datasets for analytics and model validation.
• Automate validation tests to improve data quality and validation efficiency.
• Validate analytical models for accuracy, performance, and compliance.
• Promote the adoption of reporting automation, self-serve analytics, and a culture of analytics-based decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize tool performance, conduct user acceptance testing, and resolve technical issues.
• Integrate and align data from multiple systems to enhance reporting and analytical efficiency.
• Build effective data visualizations and storytelling outputs for diverse business audiences.
• Support the development and execution of analytics and reporting strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop user guides and training materials for self-service analytics tools.
• Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures related to analytics and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide analytical consulting, insights, and technical support to business teams.
• Exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve non-routine analytical challenges independently.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL and SAS (SAS certification preferred).
• Strong data preparation, analysis, and statistical modeling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Solid understanding of A/B testing, control/treatment frameworks, and measurement techniques.
• Expertise in data visualization, storytelling, and insight communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and influencing abilities.
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with home financing, HELOCs, or mortgages, particularly within the banking or financial sector.
• Exposure to RESL analytics (Retail Secured Lending).
• Experience leading or managing analytical projects.
• Familiarity with R, Python, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience working within large, data-driven organizations.
