About The Role

Herring Global is seeking a group of enthusiastic and technically skilled graduates to join our NextGen Talent Program. This program is designed to fast-track the next generation of innovators into the fast-paced world of digital assets and blockchain technology.

As part of this 12-month rotational program, you will gain hands-on experience and discover your niche through rotations across different functions in Trading, Technology, Research, and Product Development. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to enhance, design, build, and deploy key blockchain initiatives, gaining exposure to DeFi and CeFi Trading, Traditional Finance, and Software Development.

Participants will work on projects that deliver actionable insights and drive real-world growth across the business. Throughout the rotation, you will receive mentorship from industry experts, structured learning opportunities, and access to cutting-edge tools and systems.

Through mentorship, training, and exposure to real-time markets, you will develop deep technical and strategic expertise in blockchain, digital assets, and market structure.

Outstanding performers may be offered a full-time role upon completion of the program, continuing their journey with Herring Global to shape the future of decentralized finance and digital markets.

What You Will Do

Graduates will be assigned tasks designed to facilitate your development and align with your ideal career path. Your learning journey will vary depending on your skill set and the function you begin your rotation in.

Across all functions, you will:

  • Contribute your knowledge and skills, work effectively with your team to value add and take ownership as you navigate your career development.
  • Collaborate across teams. Practice developing innovative solutions that target improved client experience and engagement.
  • Build your confidence in the development and internal deployment of trading tools, analytic dashboards and automation systems.
  • Showcase and upskill your technical analysis and data processing. Conduct extraction of actionable insights for trading and product decisions.
  • Shadow the experienced traders, engineers, and researchers as you are immersed in company platforms and culture. Gain valuable insights of our technical operations.
  • Improve existing workflows by identifying opportunities for maximum efficiency.
  • Streamline operations and enhance collaboration between trading, technology, and product units.
  • Build your wealth of industry knowledge about emerging technologies and industry trends, conversing with the team and exchanging thoughts on opinion pieces, news, etc.
  • Actively participate in team discussions and build strong cross-functional relationships.


For Computer Science/Technology Graduates:

  • Work in the fast-paced environment of our technology team, with access to a vast suite of tools to troubleshoot and keep up with the latest developments.
  • Vibe code to break new ground. You are encouraged to experiment with new ideas, tools, and technologies that push the boundaries of Web3 innovation.
  • Contribute to code reviews, QA testing, and the development of internal tools to support daily operations.


Who Should Apply?

We are looking for graduates who possess the following qualities:

Experience:

  • Fresh graduates or graduates with up to 2 years of working experience in finance, blockchain, or the digital asset industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business - Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated strong interest in the industry through personal projects, coursework, or online communities — advantageous but not required.
  • Previous internship experience in financial technology, digital assets, or related sectors (FX, commodities, or systematic investing) is a plus.


Attitude and Traits:

  • Self-starter mentality with a strong desire to tackle the newest challenge.
  • Highly driven, genuinely interested in the digital assets and blockchain industry.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and strong in problem-solving.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present complex technical content clearly.
  • Pro-active team player capable of adapting to their environment.
  • Have high integrity, professionalism, and a strong desire to learn.


Technical Skills:

  • Experience or strong interest in programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, Vyper, Go, Python, or JavaScript — not essential, but a plus to the technology team
  • Passion in digital assets and blockchain trends.

Additional Information

  • The Off-cycle NextGen Talent Program is a full-time position starting in January 2026.
  • The role is based on-site in Singapore.
  • Students graduating in 2026 are eligible to apply.
  • Applications close on 31 November 2025 for the Off-cycle NextGen Talent Program.
  • Assessments and interviews will be conducted in November and early December 2025.
