Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures for large-scale, distributed systems.
• Develop and integrate web services (SOAP/REST) with internal and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and production phases.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above)
• Experience in Microservices development
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
• Proficiency with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere, or Tomcat
• Experience with version control and build tools (SVN, Maven, Gradle)
• Good knowledge of SQL and XML

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with JMS (Java Message Service)
• Experience with Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
• Exposure to Azure Cloud services and deployments
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end integration
• Experience in B2C application development and microservices-based ecosystems
