Requirements
- Proven experience as an AI/ML, Data Engineer, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Python and experience with relevant frameworks and libraries, such as Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL, experience with PostgreSQL (incl. pgvector) and/or DynamoDB.
- Deep knowledge of AWS: Lambda (scaling/tuning), ECS/EKS, API Gateway (REST/WebSocket), Cognito/Auth, S3, VPC/private networking, EventBridge, Step Functions.
- Experience with Terraform and the Infrastructure-as-Code lifecycle.
- Understanding of AI/ML technologies (LLMs, NLP, anomaly detection, embeddings) and modern distributed systems (real-time sockets, event-driven pipelines).
- Experience with ETL orchestration tools such as Airflow and AWS Glue (running on EKS is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Advanced English level.
- Experience in production with conversational AI/chatbots and vector search at scale.
- Understanding of integrating Bedrock/SageMaker into ML workflows.
- Familiarity with security best practices and cost monitoring on AWS.
- Develop scalable ML functionalities (NLP, computer vision, recommendation systems).
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs): prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and embeddings.
- Integrate vector databases (PostgreSQL/pgvector, DynamoDB + embeddings) for retrieval-based AI.
- Implement API services for translation, transcription, Text2SQL, and intent/gesture recognition.
- Use AWS AI/ML services where appropriate (Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract).
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines in Python (Pandas/PySpark), sourcing diverse systems.
- Orchestrate and schedule workflows with Airflow and/or AWS Glue; support event-driven/streaming patterns.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and reliable delivery across environments.
- Architect, deploy, and scale services on AWS using Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway (REST & WebSocket), and private VPC networking.
- Leverage EventBridge and Step Functions for real-time, event-driven applications; use CloudFront for global delivery and Cognito for auth.
- Implement secure authorization flows, token management, and environment isolation (dev/staging/prod) across S3 and related storage.
- Manage end-to-end infrastructure as code by writing Terraform configurations for builds, networking, security, and deployments.
- Ensure auto-scaling, monitoring/alerting, logging, and cost optimization for Lambda and containerized workloads.
- Optimize for high throughput, low latency, and reliability in both real-time and batch pipelines; utilize CloudWatch and X-Ray for observability.
- Communicate with end users, run demos and working sessions, and document solutions clearly.
- Work independently and within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
